Wood Duck Calls

Hammer Calls is a proud maker of wood duck calls that we offer in our Checkmate, Dr. Jekyll, and Mr. Hyde designs. Our Checkmate design produces a clean and loud call, which also placed sixth in the World Waterfowl Call Makers Championship. Our Dr. Jekyll design produces a raspy timber-style call. Our Mr. Hyde design feature a cut-down style and produces the raspiest call we make. Wooden duck calls offer a lighter option compared to acrylic material. They also produce a softer and mellower sound, which makes them great for up close and personal hunting. Since these duck calls are made from natural wood, they require some extra care after use. However, because of the organic material, wood duck calls produce a more realistic sound compared to an acrylic call.
